- I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Zynga are planning to IPO valuing the company at around $15 billion, and I justified that valuation. I still do, especially considering my family is still buying more virtual products from Zynga.
- Today, the games publisher EA bought social gaming company PopCap for $750m. PopCap produce a number of social games including Bejeweled and Zuma. PopCap claim to have their game installed on 150 million devices (across PCs, mobiles and pads). This values each install at $5, yet their games cost less than £2 each from the App Store.
